Rogue Color Correction Flash Gel Kit release

Dec 05 2012

Rogue Flash Gels are among our favorites since they were released in 2011. What we like the most about them is the detailed labeling of each gel that not only shows the name of the filter but also the light loss value and, for the correction filters, the color temperature information.

This year, just in time for the holiday season, ExpoImaging has released a new Rogue Gel Kit aimed at photographers that work with multiple speedlights in mixed light situations. The new Color Correction Lighting Filter Kit is designed to be used with up to 3 speedlights, and it includes the following (3 of each): 1/4 CTO, 1/2 CTO, Full CTO, Plus Green, 1/2 CTB, and 1 f/stop Diffusion. It also comes with 3 attachment rubber bands, 1 storage pouch, and a quick reference guide.

The gels can be fitted on virtually any speedlight, and they are compartible with most flash light modifiers.

The current price is $29.95, which is very competitive considering that you get 18 gels with attachments for 3 flashes.

Rogue Photographic Design Delivers New Flash Gel Kit with Multiple Color Correction Gels for Event Photographers

Watsonville, California (PRWEB) December 04, 2012

ExpoImaging, Inc., which designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes innovative camera accessories to the photographic market, expands its collection of Rogue Flash Gels with a new Color Correction Filter Kit for small strobe lighting enthusiasts.

“Color correction gels are vital to professional event photographers,” said Erik Sowder, CEO of ExpoImaging, Inc. “Using color correction gels with flash vastly improves color balance and consistency, particularly when shooting indoors under incandescent and fluorescent lights.” The new Rogue Flash Gels Color Correction Filter Kit contains 3 of each color gel and 3 attachment bands for photographers using multiple speed lights. The kit includes the most commonly used correction and diffusion gels: 1/4 CTO, 1/2 CTO, Full CTO, Plus Green, 1/2 CTB, and 1 f/stop Diffusion.

Rogue Flash Gels are sized to fit most standard shoe mount flash brands. Their unique tabbed design means they are easy to attach, and because they are individually printed with the gel name, f/stop loss, Kelvin color temperature correction, and corresponding camera white balance icon they are easy to use. Rogue Flash Gels are made from high quality Lee Filters, the world’s leading manufacturer of lighting filter products, and ship in a high quality filter pouch.

“Whether you’re just getting into lighting with your first flash, or you’re an experienced event photographer using multiple speed lights, our speed light modifiers stimulate creativity and encourage experimentation with innovative soft boxes, bounce flash reflectors, gobos, honeycomb grids and gels,” said Sowder.
